Keynote - "The BRI and Europe- an holistic view. How to create a win-win-situation?"
The China led BRI is a connectivity project and regionally and thematically unrestricted, the infrastructure is the visible part and one of 6 pillars of the BRI and linked with other Chinese Plans and Strategies. Especially and although there is currently not always a real win-win situation in the primarily Chinese-financed BRI projects for all partners, cooperations in the context of sustainable supply chains, green logistics and city logistics could be a good starting point for more intensive cooperation between China and Europe.

Keynote - "The European Silk Road"
Much of Europe’s infrastructure is in a bad state, even in some wealthy parts of Europe, such as Germany. Europe’s periphery is underdeveloped and has difficulties to catch up, in part because of substantial infrastructure deficiencies. In this context wiiw proposes a European Silk Road as a combination of an e-mobility motorway, high-speed rail, ports and logistics centres that would connect the industrial areas of the west with the populous, but less developed, regions in the east of the continent.

Keynote - "The Eurasian railway corridor"
The Silk Road rail connections acts as excellent trigger for new developments and growth opportunities in the intermodal railway transportation area. Therefore it is necessary to build an extensive intermodal network, which not only allows eco friendly transportation, but also provides cost and time efficient solutions to the industry.
